BVN, NIN & Identity Verification
BVN, NIN and other identity information may be used to verify identity, help prevent fraud and support application assessment. We handle these identifiers for relevant lending and verification purposes, subject to applicable requirements.
Credit Assessment
We use application, identity, financial, employment or business and other relevant information to assess an application and repayment capacity. An application does not guarantee approval; the information requested and outcome depend on the assessment.
Who We May Share Information With
We do not sell customers’ personal information. Where necessary and permitted, we may share relevant information with identity verification, technology, payment, banking, credit reference, professional service and other service providers, and with regulators or public authorities where legally required.
Direct Debit & Repayment Information
If you agree to a repayment arrangement involving a Direct Debit Mandate, relevant mandate and bank-account information may be processed by the parties needed to facilitate that collection. You may also make payments directly through your Gifi account.
How We Protect Information
We use administrative, technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
